Sometimes, an ordinary day can turn into an adventure. For several months, I have had a couple of boxes of outdated graham crackers. Yesterday, I decided to go pay a visit to the park across the street from my boyfriend's parents' home. I invited my boyfriend's sister and her son to go with me.
Armed with three boxes of graham crackers, we fed the goldfish and koi in the pond. It was so much fun throwing in the crackers and seeing the fish roiling up to the surface for crumbs. We were visited by two herons. We wandered around the park for awhile just enjoying the beautiful afternoon.
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
Blessings.
