Every once in a while, you have to revist the movies that made your childhood...So I'm revisiting one that I absolutely love...L.M. Montgomery created what I consider to be one of the most romantic stories ever. From Anne's creative imagination and stubborn personality to Gilbert's persistance, it always enchants me and I find myself laughing and crying in all the same places. Add to that, Hagood Hardy's outstanding score, it makes for unforgettable memories.
The friendship that existed between Diana and Anne, the friendly and sometimes unfriendly competition that existed between Anne and Gilbert that turns to love, and the unlikely family that is created when Anne joins Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert at Green Gables...all, in its grand landscapes and clever dialogue are not to be missed.

For a helpless romantic like myself, this series is a treat. The beautiful landscape, the grand sweeping music and superb acting all bring to life, in the best possible way, the highlight of L.M. Montgomery's writing.

“I don’t want sunbursts or marble halls…I just want you.”
