Westward Ho! On to Oregon...

A week after my whirlwind trip to Destin to visit my aunt, uncle, cousin and friends, I was settling back into work...at least until I start my new job on July 11. That is, until I received a call from my sister on Thursday, asking me to come visit her in Oregon for the 4th of July...I happily agreed and before I knew it, I was on a plane and headed to Portland.

I spent about 4 and 1/2 hours in the Orlando airport, waiting for my flight...I began to get pretty concerned when my flight kept getting pushed back and pushed back. Thankfully, we made up the time and I got in the air and on to Las Vegas, before I knew it...I had a blast taking pictures of the clouds and mountain ranges while in the air. I will be posting those later. One of the most amazing sights I saw while in the air was undoubtably the clean energy windmills that were very visible from as high up as we were. It was incredible...

It was about 4am Eastern time before I finally got to bed. The next morning, I was excited to wake up and see my little nephew sitting up in his crib looking at me. I popped him out and set him on my stomach and we played hide and seek with my cell phone for a while...I am so excited to see the little guy, since it's been quite a while since I've seen him. He's grown so much and is so cute!!

I have to go for now, 4th of July celebration to attend...so I will be posting more later! Happy Independence Day to everyone!!!
