Monday Music Muse...

I thought I would share a favorite music artist with you...She's really rather under appreciated...(Most people are more familiar with Barbra Streisand.) Eydie Gorme has such a wonderfully beautiful voice. I couldn't judge who has the better voice, but I will say I prefer Eydie to Babs any day of the week. So, here are few of her wonderful tunes for you to enjoy...

"Frenesi"...it's a great mix of Spanish and English...I couldn't tell you the band style, but I think it's a big band style...and I love it!!

"What I Did For Love" was just recently covered by Glee, and while Lea Michele does a fantastic job, I really like Eydie's version a lot. Unfortunately, I can't put the video directly into my post, but I can put the link to YouTube in here...give it a listen, cause she's just great!!

And finally, my absolute favorite...I've heard so many versions of this song, but hands down, Eydie's version is just beautiful. It makes me think of someone doing a Cirque du Soliel style performance with her singing in the background...someone really needs to choreograph that one day...I'd pay to see it...and so, here it is..."Send In the Clowns."
