This particular song reminds me that no matter what I go through, God is always right there with me. I may be going through the worst time in my life, but I'm not alone. May this be a reminder to everyone out there, you may feel alone and scared, but don't be - God is there and He will NEVER let go of your hand.

"I'll Never Let Go of Your Hand" ~ Don Francisco
I know what you’ve been hearing; I’ve seen you hide your fear
Embarrassed by your weaknesses, afraid to let me near
I wish you knew how much I long for you to understandNo matter what may happen, child, I’ll never let go of your hand
I know you’ve been forsaken by all you’ve known before
When you failed their expectations, they’ve frowned and closed the doorBut even though your heart itself should lose the will to stand
No matter what may happen, child, I’ll never let go of your handThe life that I have given you no one can take away
I’ve sealed it with my spirit, blood, and WordThe everlasting Father has made His covenant with you
And He’s stronger than the world you’ve seen and heardSo don’t you fear to show them all the love I have for you
And I’ll be with you everywhere, in everything you doAnd even if you do it wrong and miss the joy I’ve planned
I’ll never, never let go of your hand. The life that I have given you no one can take away
I’ll never, never let go of your hand.I’ll never let go of your hand.
I love my memories of records! My grandparents had one and it was usually on when we went over! I have to agree with you Mr. Francisco has a special way with words, and music! Thank you for sharing! I LOVE IT!!!!
ReplyDeleteHearing about your dad's records was honestly kind of funny. I love this song though!
ReplyDeleteI know, it's funny hearing about my dad's old records. It was the best past time, though. I have a stack of old records myself...Even if I never get a turntable, I can use them to decorate, although it would be a crying shame to mess them up and use them as decorations. There's a quality to records that just doesn't exist anymore...
