What I look forward to in owning a house, rather than living in an apartment:
1. I will have my own washer and dryer!! No more laundry hauled down and hauled back! YAY!!!
2. I will be able to actually have a garden! No more pots on a balcony with neighbors wanting to chat while I'm trying to trim my oregano or spearmint!
3. No noisy neighbors playing a guitar (badly) at 3am. I will be able to rest in peace. I'm sure I'll have to deal with barking dogs from other neighbors, but at least it won't be smack dab up against my bedroom wall.
4. No more up and down stairs. When you have to haul groceries or laundry up stairs for 3 years, it gets a little old.
5. I'll be able to line dry my clothes - a much better and less harsh method!
6. A kitchen that won't hit me in the back if I step backward once.
7. A dishwasher.
8. More than two rooms.
9. I won't be in the city.
10. Space to have a place for everything.
